It may be because of poverty, abuse, trauma, neglect or misunderstanding, but the result can be the same - it traps them in pain, and that can lead to destructive acts aimed at self, or others. At Save A Child Artist (the action division of The Poet's Foundation) we believe creativity is not just about talent — it’s the child’s voice, their future, freedom from pain and emotional turmoil - It's about healing, and hope for a happy, productive life that contributes to a better world.
